Refund Policy

What you can refund

Refunds apply to cancelled bookings, airline-initiated cancellations, and downgrades. Add-ons (seats, meals, insurance) refund per airline rules.

How the refund is calculated

Refund = Ticket fare − Airline cancellation fee − Travelbird service charge + Statutory taxes.

Where refunds go

Refunds return to the original payment method. You may instead opt for wallet credit and receive a 5% bonus.

Processing time

• Wallet: instant.
• UPI: 1–3 business days.
• Card / Netbanking: 5–7 business days.
• International cards: up to 14 business days.

Every status change (Requested → Processing → Refunded) posts to your notifications inbox.

Contact care@travelbird.travel within 30 days of the expected refund date.
